Marko’s Story
Marko Bosnjak has worked in the financial services industry for over 13 years with Valley First Credit Union, now Tru Cooperative Bank. Throughout his career, he has been passionate about helping individuals, families, and businesses achieve their financial goals while building lasting relationships within the communities he serves. His experience in leadership, strategic planning, financial management, and community engagement brings a practical and collaborative perspective to every organization he is involved with.
Born in Mexico and raised in Oliver, British Columbia, Marko is deeply connected to the South Okanagan and is committed to giving back to the community that has shaped his life. In addition to his banking career, he is an entrepreneur and co-owner of licensed child care centres, where he focuses on creating high-quality early learning environments for local families.
Marko has served on the Board of Directors for Desert Sun Counselling & Resource Centre for the past four years. He is passionate about supporting organizations that strengthen the community and improve the lives of individuals and families through accessible, compassionate services.
